One of the four cornerstones of Kids Creative is "Be Safe." We've made a commitment, since the beginning, to keep the students we serve and our staff safe and healthy. It's with that commitment at the forefront of our minds, and under the guidance of the Department of Education, that we've decided to pause all KC programming and postpone CREATE.
We're looking into every possible way that we can continue to support our staff and offer services to the students being affected. As the situation continues to evolve, we will continue to advocate for the youth that we serve and for our staff in whatever way possible.
In times like these, we're also reminded of the strength of community. Now more than ever, we encourage our supporters to find ways to reach out to others and offer help in whatever way they can. It is also important to stay up to date on the situation and practice recommended precautions, such as consistent hand washing and social distancing, to help keep those around us safe.
In the days to come, we'll be monitoring the situation and keeping you as up to date as possible on the state of our programming and upcoming events. We'll also do our best to share resources we find to help those struggling with childcare and other concerns due to the Coronavirus.
