A Typical Day at Create-A-Play's Rock N Roll Theater Summer Camp--Where we create an original musical completely from your imagination:

The camp is a full day experience, from 9 AM-5 PM (Fridays are 9 AM-1 PM).

A typical camp day:
Morning: Welcoming warm-ups, followed by group brainstorming for story ideas and scene creation
Lunch
Early Afternoon : Fun and games in the park, where you can choose to play sports, play in the sprinkler, hang out with friends or a little bit of each.   In addition, sports clinics are offered at least twice a week.
Snack and quiet time
Mid-Afternoon : Elective classes: Set design, Instrument Instruction, Acting, Dance and Video Creation (Each elective class will have a part in creating the final play)
Late Afternoon : Final group brainstorm, Review of the story thus far, Song practice and Free time until Pick up

We will also take one or two field trips during the summer to museums or other exciting places that will help us expand our imaginations and explore our story more in depth.
