May 2022: Erica Santiago

Our Employee of the Month for May is Erica Santiago, an Arts Specialist at our Rock 2 The Bronx site! Erica’s commitment to the KC mission and our students has been there since the beginning, and truly makes her a stand-out employee.

By creating a caring, peaceful, and supportive environment, Erica brings the best out of the kids she works with both emotionally and artistically. She engages with her students incredibly well, ensuring that they’re excited about the art they make and inspired to continue expressing themselves! The 6 C’s are present in all of her work, and with them she’s built a community in our after school program that has students and staff excited to collaborate together.


This school year has been an amazing one, and it’s great team members like Erica that made it possible, which is why we’re shouting her out!
