November 2019: Keishliany Diaz

This month, we’re excited to announce Keishliany Diaz, a Head Teacher at our Rock 2 The Bronx site, as our Employee of the Month!

Keishliany goes above and beyond for her students by creating lesson plans on her own time to help them with their academic challenges. Her amazing work ethic and positivity means that each lesson she creates leaves her students feeling supported and smiling as she finds ways to bring out the fun in learning! It also makes her an invaluable member of the Rock 2 The Bronx team, as her positive, can-do attitude is infectious and brightens up everyone’s day.

Before joining the Kids Creative team, Keishliany volunteered through the Door in various service projects, including delivering food to the homeless here in New York City. She continues to find ways to give back to the community, giving her students the tools they need to create the peaceful future they’re dreaming of.

Keishliany is working towards becoming a teacher in the future, and we’re sure she’ll be an incredible one with her passion for education and commitment to her students! With her recent promotion from a Group Leader to Head Teacher, we think she’s well on her way.
