Under the guidance of Kids Creative teaching artists, students used Kids Creative's creation curriculum to create a play that explores the diverse cultures of East Harlem, "Make AMERICA Great Again". There will be a workshop performance for friends & family at the end of the rehearsal process, but our primary focus will be the development of technique for each individual. The goal is not for students to sprint toward a commercial performance, but rather for them to explore their understanding and appreciation for the material, experiment with creative self-expression, and gain a deeper understanding of the craft of music-theatre.
