Rock N Roll Theater Summer Workshops
Bring a Rock N Roll Theater Workshop to your camp this summer! Let Create-A-Play staff work collaboratively with your campers as they challenge themselves and each other in a creative process.
Who creates: 10-15 campers, 2 Kids Creative (KC) instructors
What’s created: A brand new musical, written with the KIDS, including music by the Dirty Sock Funtime Band!

Typical Five-Day Program
Day 1: Brainstorm ideas for the show. Discuss ideas in small groups.
Day 2: KC staff presents the story outline created the previous day. More brainstorming. Kids invent their characters.
Day 3: KC staff presents a working script unifying the kids’ ideas. Rehearsal.
Day 4: Rehearsal and staging. Kids create set, props and costumes.
Day 5: Final rehearsal and performance.

The one-day program is a condensed version of our five-day program and...
¸ Lasts anywhere from 2 hours to a full day
¸ Includes brainstorming to create a story outline and develop characters
¸ KC staff teaches one Dirty Sock Funtime Band song
¸ At the end of the day we perform what we’ve worked on
A five-day workshop costs $3,200, plus transportation for the Kids Creative staff.
