August 2019: Malcolm Hunt

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on one of our Dance Instructors, Malcolm Hunt! This summer, he’s choreographed shows at our PS 102 and Rock 2 The Bronx summer camps, giving our campers the chance to express themselves through dance.
When Malcolm teaches, he brings an incredibly warm energy to every class that makes all his students and staff feel welcome and ready to learn. His patience shines through when he collaborates, making sure that all his students are picking up the dance skills they need to create their choreography! Malcolm brings students and staff into the dance process with him, leading them through every step as they work together on dance routines that bring a smile to everyone’s face.
Before joining the KC team, Malcolm had already established himself as a talented performer, from stage productions of A Raisin in the Sun and Once on This Island to even performing on Carnival Cruise Lines. His passion for dance and theater is clear in everything he does, and it’s infectious among his students and staff; rumor has it, he even had our staff Vogueing at their last summer camp show!
For these reasons and more, we count ourselves incredibly lucky to have Malcolm on our team.
